Kaitlin is currently the Head of Global Social Media Marketing at Timberland, which entails leading disruptive creative strategy, project managing digital activation and driving up engagement, while reaching new audiences. Previously, as Atlanta Marketing Manager for Foot Locker, she project managed events with brands, such as Nike, adidas, Jordan and PUMA. Kaitlin executed community givebacks with artists such as Future, Lil Baby, Gunna and 2Chainz, and managed both experiential activations and social media campaigns. Before this role, she planned brand activations with various vendors, ran paid multimillion dollar media campaigns and amplified brand voice through digital channels as a social media coordinator and brand marketing strategist for Champs Sports within Foot Locker, Inc.

Kaitlin shot, edited, produced and scheduled content for the Harlem Globetrotters' social feeds two years earlier and grew their channels by over 200 thousand new audience members in six short months. And worked with the Detroit Lions as a multimedia intern, interviewing players and coaches and producing content for NFL Network, Fox Sports Detroit, DetroitLions.com and its social media feeds. 

Kaitlin worked passionately as a production assistant for IMG Media in college and reported on, shot, edited and produced content for GeorgiaDogs.com and the SEC Network. She also interviewed players and coaches for long-form features, produced hype videos, in-game video board pieces and daily practice reports for various sports, such as football, basketball, baseball and etc.

 

Her journey in the sports industry kicked off as soon as she graduated from the University of Georgia with a degree in Digital/Broadcast Journalism, minor in Communication Studies and certificate in Sports Media.
